Manafort Loses Skirmish With Mueller Over Two Search Warrants

Paul Manafort’s defense team can’t review an unredacted affidavit that supported warrants used to search his Alexandria residence, a judge ruled. U.S. District Judge Amy Berman Jackson in Washington denied a request by Manafort’s lawyers to review documents that could help them challenge the legal basis for the warrant. The ruling allows Special Counsel Robert Mueller to shield the names of confidential sources.
